The University of South Wales is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wellbeing and Early Intervention Officer to join our Wellbeing & Disability Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing initiatives to promote student wellbeing and early intervention.
Working closely with our Professional Service and Faculty teams, you will be responsible for creating and delivering events, workshops, and activities that support students' physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing strategies to prevent escalation or severity of risk and mental health need.
As a Wellbeing and Early Intervention Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to creating a vibrant culture and improving the utilization of campus spaces. You will work collaboratively with teams responsible for student wellbeing and student experience to ensure that all students have access to the support they need.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post until 4th April 2025. If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University, you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales.
