Job Description

As a Flow Room Technician at Frasers Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems and processes. You will partner with the on-site operations team to exceed operational KPIs across designated areas, working closely with warehouse operatives, flow room colleagues, shift and section managers, supervisors, trainee supervisors, and the IT and engineering teams.

With a lead technician, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the systems, reporting any faults, prioritizing waves in line with the daily plan, and providing recommendations to optimize operations. You will also analyze data in real-time, capturing data from our systems into trackers, monitoring forecasts, and investigating and communicating risks and missed targets to the lead technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of automated systems and processes
  • Partner with the on-site operations team to exceed operational KPIs
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the systems
  • Analyze data in real-time and provide recommendations to optimize operations
  • Investigate and communicate risks and missed targets to the lead technician

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a data or analytics role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced automated environment
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
