We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 class teacher to join our client's team in Orpington. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive staff environment where children enjoy their learning.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil progression and achievement. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement lesson plans, assessments and activities that meet the needs of all learners.

You will be expected to maintain accurate records of pupil progress, attendance and behaviour, and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments and activities that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, attendance and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting pupil progress and achievement.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting with a good understanding of the Primary Curriculum.
