About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help residents with their shopping and daily tasks.
Requirements
  • A warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • Experience working in a care or support environment, preferably in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • A QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
