At Tesco, we're seeking a talented Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and make a real impact on customers' lives. As part of our diverse store teams, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration to ensure a smooth customer experience while maintaining yours and others' safety.

About the Role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You'll also play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Your leadership skills will be essential in supporting the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplying prescriptions and delivering a range of NHS and Private services.
  • Providing healthcare advice to customers.
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries.
  • Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Pharmacy Degree, membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. A DBS check will also be required before employment.
