About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Brandon Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with support needs to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Provide support with daily living skills, such as personal care, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Assist individuals in accessing their communities, including socialization, employment, training, and friendships.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and external professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Hold a full manual driving license (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilience and patience when working with individuals with complex needs
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
