As a Senior Medical Writer at HCG, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality content and creative deliverables, serving as the key day-to-day contact for account activities and deliverables. This role requires an advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, RPh, MS, RN, MD) in a scientific/medical discipline, with 1-2 years of experience working in medical education, medical communications, pharmaceuticals, publishing, or publications planning and development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, communication, and listening skills, as well as the ability to work independently and navigate various departments. You will also engage with team members to ensure projects move forward in a timely fashion and provide support with developing and second-setting communications and content as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and physicians in relevant fields.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with these stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in relevant fields and apply this knowledge to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content and creative deliverables.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, RPh, MS, RN, MD) in a scientific/medical discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in medical education, medical communications, pharmaceuticals, publishing, or publications planning and development.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate various departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

The salary for this position is estimated at $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
