Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled forklift driver to support our client in a warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift, lifting and moving boxes, and performing various tasks related to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lifting and Moving Boxes: Safely lift and move boxes into storage rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Order Picking and Preparation: Pick and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to quality and productivity standards.
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move heavy loads, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Stock Rotation and Management: Rotate and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient storage.
  • Loading and Unloading Stock: Load and unload stock from UK-sized pallets, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Manual Loading and Unloading: Manually load and unload products by hand, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other reasonable tasks and duties as directed by management, ensuring a high level of productivity and quality.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Certifications: Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift certificate.
  • Health and Safety: Familiarity with basic Health and Safety and storage safety knowledge.
  • Communication: Standard speaking of English and basic communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Good eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy loads, with a good level of physical fitness.
