This is a challenging opportunity to join Project Partners as a Mechanical Supervisor. Based in Rugby, Warwickshire, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability. This is a full-time role, and we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability.
  • Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure suitable parts.
  • Ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
  • Coordinate deployment of labour, parts and equipment resources.
  • Manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivation and discipline.
  • Monitor performance of own staff and contractors and ensure jobs proceed to plan.
  • Supervise the carrying out of preventative maintenance inspections.

Requirements:

  • Apart from having at least an apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, we also look for a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • The ideal candidate should have 2 years' experience in a Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer role in a cement plant.

Our salary range for this position is between £50,000 - £60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
