Job Description: Independent Living Coach

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Individual to support a young adult with ASD in achieving his aspirations and living an independent life. As an Independent Living Coach, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to help the individual develop essential life skills, maintain good physical and mental health, and participate in community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual in identifying and working towards his goals, using a person-centered approach.
  • Develop and implement a personalized support plan to enhance the individual's independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless support and care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working with individuals with ASD or similar conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with the individual and their family.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
