The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity within our Energy business for a Technical Support Manager to join our Overhead Lines department.

This role will work closely with the technical support team, supporting pre-construction, training, resourcing, and methodology departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and insight to our tender teams
  • Develop and maintain a suite of Construction Work Instructions
  • Maintain a digital library of Construction Work Instructions
  • Assist the training department in ensuring the correct competencies are in place for our skilled workforce
  • Identify gaps in competence and arrange necessary training
  • Carry out on-site competency assessments
  • Support the Management Team in developing a competency framework
  • Carry out on-site audits to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
  • Provide coaching and support to project teams

Requirements:

CITB Site Management or equivalent Electrical qualification

NVQ Management Level 3 or equivalent (preferable or working towards)

CSCS Accreditation
