Technical Content Specialist

Orion Electrotech is seeking a skilled Technical Content Specialist to produce high-quality technical manuals and installation procedures for its product lines. This role involves collaborating with international teams and utilizing 2D and 3D CAD software to create technical illustrations.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with project design and product teams to gather technical requirements.
- Analyse and improve existing manuals to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with international teams to synchronize documentation.
- Use 2D and 3D CAD software to create technical illustrations.
- Identify and implement new systems for optimising manual production.
- Ensure documentation is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
- Minimum HNC in engineering; a BA/BSc degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD is advantageous (training available).
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with MRP systems is beneficial (training provided).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical writing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new software as required.
- Ability to travel internationally 2-3 times per year.
