We are seeking a Bank Regional Registered Nurse to support our homes in Southall and West Drayton.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in care, including basic life support, catheter care, PEG and RIG Tube feeding, and end of life care.
- Proficiency in electronic care plans and E-mars with auditing experience.
- Multi-site experience and tracheostomy care experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
The registered nurse will:
- Assist the Senior Nurse/Manager in assessing, implementing, and evaluating resident care.
- Lead the nursing team in achieving high standards of care.
- Carry out appropriate skills for the job, including leadership and direction.
- Maintain effective communications and make accurate reports on residents.
- Ensure care procedures are carried out according to policy.
- Provide personal care for residents, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort.
- Deputise for the Manager.
- Carry out staff supervision and appraisals.
- Implement changes in routine and procedures as agreed with the Manager.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process.
- Carry out staff induction and assessment of perspective clients/residents.
- Complete the duty rota as necessary.
- Carry out internal quality audits.
- Participate in the training and development of staff.
- Promote and maintain the good reputation of the home.
- Comply with legislative standards.
- Assist the Manager in working within agreed budgets.
