Exciting Opportunity:

An experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver is required to join a leading manufacturing business in the UK.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,500 per annum, alongside a permanent contract after a successful probationary period.

With day shifts Monday to Friday and a 45-hour working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck on a daily basis.
  • Assist in the warehouse, providing excellent service to customers.
  • Conduct warehouse and factory maintenance to uphold standards.
  • Monitor and meet production requirements efficiently.
  • Manage stock through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and order.
  • Participate in audits and stock takes, contributing to the team's success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse-based computer systems.
  • Current Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
  • A strong commitment to adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and PPE policies.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to assist in various tasks including packing and shipping preparations.
