Job Title: FLT Reach Driver

Major Recruitment Telford is proud to represent a leading manufacturing company based in Telford. We are currently seeking experienced FLT Reach Drivers to work in their state-of-the-art facility in Telford.

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled FLT Reach Drivers to join our client's team. As a FLT Reach Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift truck to transport goods and materials within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-shift checks on the FLT and report any faults or issues.
  • Supply production areas with goods and materials.
  • Unload vehicles unsupervised and book in goods.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including emptying bins and keeping the yard tidy.
  • Assist with coil changes, lifting new coils onto machines.
  • Band products and move parts between two warehouses.
  • Operate the FLT in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Reach licenses, refreshed within the last 3 or 5 years.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
