We are currently seeking a highly skilled SEND Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Rochdale Local Authorities internal SEND services, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting the commissioning and quality assurance of external provision to meet the needs of children and their families.

The SEND Service Manager will act as an expert advisor to Children's Service's Assistant Directors, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure compliance with SEND regulations. The role will also involve leading the strategic direction of the Education Health and Care Planning Team (EHCP), overseeing the operational delivery of the team, and managing internal resources to best meet the needs of children with SEND.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEND services, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
