About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Officer to join our team at Abri. As a Community Development Officer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering sustainable community plans that have a real impact on the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate and deliver community plans through consultation, research and data analysis to identify areas of need and maximize social value.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including residents, local authorities and community partners, to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of community investment projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for community development and investment, and develop creative solutions to address complex community issues.
- Work closely with our community investment team to ensure that community plans are aligned with our overall business objectives and strategies.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of community development best practices and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Requirements
- Experience in community development, community cohesion or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform community development decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving outcomes.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
