We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our First Contact and Mainstream Physiotherapy Team in NHS Highland. This part-time position will cover a maternity leave and involve working in primary care, alongside GPs and other professionals in rural general practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in primary care, working alongside GPs and other professionals. You will be part of a team based in practices across Fort William and the surrounding area of Lochaber, one of the most beautiful and popular locations in the Highlands of Scotland.

Applications are invited from physiotherapists with advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions. You should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical care and have previous specialist experience in this field.

Injection skills and prescribing are part of this role, and you will be expected to work towards completion of both if you do not have the qualification on application.

Job share and part-time applications will be considered.

A full current driving licence and use of a car for work purposes are essential.

NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
