About the Role

This role will be responsible for leading investment activities, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategic plans to drive growth and returns. You will report directly to the Flight Group Managing Director and work closely with the investment team to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in investment management, financial engineering, and deal origination. They should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders. Proficiency in financial modeling, project management, and data analysis is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead investment teams from inception to close new deals
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts, including entrepreneurs, venture funds, corporate financiers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct deep-dive research on emerging tech themes and identify potential investment opportunities
  • Champion selected deals and investment recommendations to the Board
  • Track performance of deal portfolio and prepare reports for Board and external investors
Requirements
  • Deep experience in investment structures and financial engineering
  • Strong track record of running successful PE/VC portfolios
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in financial modeling, project management, and data analysis
  • Strong regulatory, governance, and compliance knowledge
