Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (based on 35 hours/week, term-time only)

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced Classroom Behaviour Coach to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. You will work collaboratively with our teaching staff to implement effective strategies that support students with Behavioural, Social and Emotional Difficulties (BSED) and improve academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Inclusion Manager, work with individuals and small groups of students within a classroom situation to ensure each child has maximum access to all learning activities.
  • Develop and deliver tailored support programmes to address specific student needs.
  • Provide individualised support to students through mentoring, coaching and one-to-one tuition.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement whole-class interventions and group workshops.
  • Meet with students, teaching staff and parents to discuss progress and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Liaise with Alternative Education Providers and other stakeholders to secure additional support for students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and supports students' social and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

You will need to possess a strong educational background, preferably in Special Educational Needs or a related field. Proven experience of working with students with BSED is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents.
