About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join our Children's Services Team at the Early Years Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support in a demanding yet rewarding role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach. You will work collaboratively with our settings and team across England, ensuring the successful implementation of our marketing strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement our marketing strategy for early years settings, achieving occupancy targets.
  2. Ensure that our marketing strategy is understood by Early Years Managers, providing them with the necessary support to implement the strategy locally.
  3. Coordinate marketing activities to increase awareness of our early years offer.
  4. Enhance the quality of our website and other platforms, driving more visitors to our online presence.
  5. Maintain active, relevant, and high-quality social media accounts.
  6. Support the advertising and promotion of vacancies for Alliance Early Years settings.
  7. Manage our centralised enquiry system, resulting in higher conversion rates and increased occupancy in our settings.

About You:

  1. You will demonstrate excellent teamwork skills while being able to work independently.
  2. Able to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and deliver to a high standard.
  3. A willingness to challenge, learn, and manage a varied workload with conflicting deadlines and multiple projects.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  1. Proven experience in supporting and implementing successful marketing strategies or campaigns.
  2. Strong communication experience, including digital media.
  3. A recognised marketing qualification.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to work within set budgets.
  6. Knowledge of prioritising tasks to deliver effective returns.
  7. Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
  8. Understanding of and commitment to diversity and equality.
  9. Able to travel across the country and attend occasional evening and weekend meetings.

  1. A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
