We are looking for a highly motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team at Meridian Business Support in Swindon North. As a supervisor, you will play a key role in managing our Trade Branch Network, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth.



About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and trade, with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for motivating and supervising a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for stock management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.



Company Overview

Our company offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We pride ourselves on providing excellent work-life balance, promoting internal growth opportunities, and helping our employees develop new skills and experiences.



Job Description

As a Retail Supervisor at Meridian Business Support, you will be responsible for:




  • Managing a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to achieve their full potential
  • Stock management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve sales and customer service
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers

  • A strong background in retail and trade
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to motivate and supervise a team of retail staff
  • Good stock management and visual merchandising skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Location

This role is based in Swindon North, and you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. You will have access to a company car and will be expected to travel to other locations as required.
