Retail Design Architect Job Description

At Insight International (UK) Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Design Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing rationalized product models, configuring Hansen software solutions, and executing configuration management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Rationalized Product Models: Create and implement product models that meet the needs of our clients.
  2. Configure Hansen Software Solutions: Set up and customize Hansen software solutions to meet the requirements of our clients.
  3. Execute Configuration Management: Oversee the configuration management process to ensure that our software solutions are properly configured.
  4. Define Product Data Migration: Develop and implement plans for migrating product data from one system to another.
  5. Understand Retail Product Life Cycle Management: Have a deep understanding of the retail product life cycle management process and be able to apply this knowledge to our clients' needs.
  6. Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Share your expertise on the operationalization of Hansen software solutions in our organization.
  7. Design and Develop Process and Organizational Models: Create and implement process and organizational models that support the rollout and use of our software solutions.
  8. Expertise in Hansen CPQ and EPC: Have in-depth knowledge of Hansen CPQ and EPC and be able to apply this expertise to our clients' needs.
  9. Expertise in Product Modeling Concepts: Have a deep understanding of product modeling concepts and be able to apply this knowledge to our clients' needs.
  10. Responsible for Planning and Sequencing Tasks: Plan, sequence, and perform tasks in an efficient manner to meet the needs of our clients.
  11. Conduct Product Modeling Workshops: Lead product modeling workshops and have a familiarity with general TM Forum eTOM, TAM, and SID concepts.
  12. Design and Produce Functional Specifications: Develop and implement functional specifications for all areas of implementation work.
  13. Develop Training Materials and Deliver Training Courses: Create training materials and deliver training courses to our clients.
  14. Product Implementation Consultancy: Provide product implementation consultancy on business and product architecture.
  15. Contribute to Product Roadmap: Regularly contribute new product roadmap ideas.
  16. Experience with BSS/OSS Solutions: Have experience with BSS/OSS solutions specializing in catalog, order management, and provisioning.
  17. Experience with Software Solutions: Have significant experience with software solutions in the telecommunications, cable, and/or high-tech sector.
  18. Agile Project Delivery Experience: Have experience working with agile methods of project delivery, either in an agile environment or as part of an agile team.
  19. System Analysis and Development: Conduct system analysis and development, keep abreast of current product features/capabilities along with changes in technologies.
  20. System Analysis and Development: Analyze, design, coordinate, and supervise the development and testing of systems.
  21. System Analysis and Development: Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.
  22. Multi-Vendor Environment Experience: Have experience working in a multi-vendor and multi-systems environment for a large system integration program, supporting the QA/UAT/Acceptance test phases.
  23. XML, Web Services, and Middleware Expertise: Have knowledge of XML, web services, Microservices & JSON, and any Middleware/integration technologies, BPM, Orchestration suites.
