Job Title: Child Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Child Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons West Dulwich Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. This will involve engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.

You will also be responsible for supervising children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being. Additionally, you will work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum
  2. Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being
  3. Work as part of a team to ensure all essential tasks are completed
  4. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience working with children
  2. A passion for making learning fun and engaging
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
  4. A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
