Morson Talent is currently seeking a skilled Aerospace Documentation Specialist for a 16-month contract, with the possibility of being extended long-term. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work from home for part of the week.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £51.46, plus holiday pay of £5.47 per hour, with the option to opt for umbrella company services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Validate OEM manuals for editorial content and create comprehensive reports for the Senior Technical Documentation Engineer (Information).
  • Evaluate and ensure that technical data and documentation specifications are complete, coherent, and consistent before submission to subcontractors.
  • Foster effective collaboration with engineering, supply chain, support functions, and training teams as required across the business.
  • Analyze delivery requirements across the entire scope of information delivery.
  • Review source information and media.
  • Provide expert guidance to subcontractors on production specifications.
  • Utilize databases to establish ship fit systems and equipment configurations.
  • Ensure configuration control and maintain accurate audit trails.
  • Verify that produced documentation meets quality standards and adheres to governed business processes.
  • Offer constructive feedback on work in progress and report any issues impacting delivery, budget, or quality to the supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Word, XML, SGML, and S1000D.
