About the Role

The Warehouse Team Manager will play a crucial role in the efficient management of the warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet productivity targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the site management team to achieve business objectives and provide regular updates on warehouse performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably in the FMCG distribution industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
