Academic Support Professional

Academics is seeking a strong, empathetic, and passionate Academic Support Professional to join an SEN, Post-16 provision in New Milton. This is a full-time contract starting after half term and are happy to consider candidates looking for a permanent or temp to perm position.

The provision offers a comprehensive 16-19 curriculum for pupils in Key Stage 5, where they promote an independent environment where learners gain in confidence and resilience in preparation for adulthood.

The School is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and provides education for pupils with Autism, SEMH and associated needs. The Post-16 facilities provide a variety of different pathways, ensuring all learners seek appropriate qualifications, that will enable them to start their career journey with success.

As an Academic Support Professional, you will be supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Working hours are: 8:15 - 4:30 (Mon and Tues), 8:15 - 4:00 (Weds and Thurs), 8:15 - 13:30 (Fri).
