Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Utility Meter Collector to join our team. As a Commercial Meter Data Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electricity, and water meters for both commercial and residential properties.

You will update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device and provide excellent customer service. The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data from domestic, commercial, and industrial sites for Water, Gas and Electric Meters
  • Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment
  • Charge Point Surveys

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions)
  • Credit Report check (no county court judgements, IVA, debt relief orders recorded for the last 6 years)
