Are you a highly motivated and experienced engineer looking to take your skills to the next level? We are seeking a Senior Infrared Imaging Engineer to join our team at Polytec Ltd. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and collaborate with a talented group of engineers.

About the Position

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electronics or physics, and at least 7 years of experience in FPGA design. The successful candidate will have excellent 'A' level grades (A or B) and a degree in Electronics or Physics.

As a key member of our R&D Hardware team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions that drive business growth. You will need to stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies, and demonstrate a sound understanding of FPGA principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative FPGA solutions for infrared thermal imaging projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
