Job Description

The Improvement Service is seeking a skilled Project Officer to join the Planning for Place Programme. This part-time role will involve working collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver the programme's objectives.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners. They will also possess a strong understanding of place-based planning and community development principles.

The role will involve a blended model of office and home working, with flexible hours to be agreed with the line manager. The contract duration is fixed term or secondment until 30 September.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results. They will also have a passion for improving local government services and a commitment to the Improvement Service's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver programme objectives
