Senior User Experience Designer

We are seeking a talented Senior User Experience Designer to join our team at Autodesk, Inc. and contribute to the development of innovative cloud solutions for the construction industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of designers, engineers, and researchers to create exceptional user experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human-centered design, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for solving complex problems.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges.
  • Partnering with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation.
  • Assisting in customer research activities during the planning, strategy development, and early design of solutions.
  • Comparing, contrasting, and prioritizing among alternative approaches to meet design objectives, using judgment to suggest optimal solutions to design problems.

Requirements include:

  • 4+ years of professional design experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with experience in working cross-functional teams in problem definition and analysis, understanding customer workflows, creating prototypes and designs that solve customer problems.
  • Quality portfolio of recent professional User Experience project work.
  • Skilled in human-centered design methods and practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in research - interviews, ethnography, user testing, etc.

Preferred qualifications include experience applying UX within Agile development environments, working with 3D graphics and/or Autodesk products, and experience with user research, analytics, and remote testing platforms.
