Data Centre, Pharma and Industrial Projects

Design Build Search is working with a top-tier contractor to fill Quantity Surveyor positions in Buckinghamshire. Our client is a leading player in the construction industry, with a strong presence in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
• Post-tender and pre-contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project.
• Procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement.
• Controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence, and final account.
• During the post-contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation.
• Integrate the commercial strategy, amending to suit project as it develops.
• Liaise with and commercially influence/challenge the other members of the team and the construction process.

Requirements
• Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
• 3+ years with a main contractor
