Counsellor Therapist for Children and Young People

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor Therapist to join our team at Roehampton Gate School, a school for young people aged 9-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger's Syndrome and associated learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate your own caseload, implementing individual EHCP/treatment plans for counselling.
- Attend regular supervision sessions to ensure high-quality practice.
- Respond promptly to new students, undertaking assessments to identify and prioritize student need, and delivering relevant interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete Annual Review paperwork as required.
- Develop close working relationships with school staff to ensure seamless support for students.
- Ensure clinical practice aligns with school policies and procedures, and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.
- Contribute to business growth by promoting the school's therapy services in line with personal and school targets.
- Undertake training for school staff in line with EHCP requirements.
- Engage children and young people in counselling sessions using a range of therapeutic models and resources.
