FPSG is seeking a highly skilled SAP Production Planning and Maintenance expert to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our SAP team, you will be responsible for delivering system services, enhancements, and projects in the area of Production, Plant Maintenance, and Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis support to the business and deliver the appropriate development of systems and business processes to meet business requirements.
  • Perform configuration of SAP systems using the PP, PM, and QM modules that align with proposed solutions defined and agreed with the business during business analysis.
  • Perform testing and development of test scenarios, including automation of testing.
  • Provide daily monitoring of PP/PM/QM issues, including data integrity, and rectify any issues through proactive collaboration with company functions, 3rd parties, and other IT functions.
  • Provide expertise within their functional area on the use and development of systems and business processes to ensure they continue to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze, assess, and document business requirements, compile functional and technical specifications to propose ERP solutions and business processes.
  • Develop options and recommendations for businesses on how they can utilize SAP and related applications to improve productivity or reduce business costs.
  • Perform configuration and deliver ERP systems enhancements and projects on time and within cost targets.
  • Deliver support for SAP through proactive monitoring and collaboration with business functions, 3rd parties, and other business IT functions.
  • Work with support and infrastructure partners to monitor and resolve issues on interfaces and batch jobs.
  • Constantly monitor users' issues raised, implement solutions identified, and follow-up to closure to achieve user satisfaction.
  • Coach/train team members, super users, and users to establish good practices across the user base on a common set of system processes.
  • Be involved in systems governance and demand management.
  • Project manage the delivery of projects to time, quality, and cost.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Business process experience in the chemical industry.
  • SAP PP/PM process modules qualifications.
  • Three successful full life-cycle implementations of SAP PP.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including project experience from an IT perspective and documenting processes.
  • A track record in change management.
Technical Skills

The candidate should have:

  • Knowledge of relevant industry practices and processes.
  • Knowledge of business processes.
  • Technical configuration experience in SAP Production and Plant Maintenance.
  • Quality Management experience preferred.
Behavioural Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Self-motivation and a passion for service delivery and attention to detail.
  • High numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Language Requirements

Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Mandarin is useful but not essential.
