Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and develop our Hull site maintenance team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building and implementing an effective asset maintenance strategy, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a proactive equipment upkeep and improvement strategy to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Own the asset care strategy for the Hull Manufacturing operation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver New Product Development projects and support the development of new technologies.
  • Set and achieve continuous improvement goals, working closely with the Operations Excellence team to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams, engineering, and quality assurance.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and team members, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure their growth and development.
  • Responsible for the management and control of allocated budgets, including capital expenditures as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment-related asset documentation.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on engineering background, with recent people leadership experience and the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues via structured methods.
  • Relevant scientific or engineering education, with additional qualifications such as Six Sigma Greenbelt or Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) an advantage.
