We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing daily nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring that all food is fresh and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare daily menus that meet dietary requirements and are within budget.
- Ensure all health and safety and environmental standards are achieved and maintained.
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and supply chain logistics.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff.
