**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive. As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will work with children who have Autism, challenging behaviours, and other special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in groups or 1:1 in SEND settings
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
  • Monitor and record children's progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working in SEND settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's needs
  • Enhanced DBS check and ID checks
