Job Summary: JAM Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Process Optimization Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with PLC/SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will develop and modify software for industrial control systems, ensuring compliance with Industry standards and safety regulations (IEC 61508, CEFS). A significant knowledge of communication protocols, such as Profibus and Modbus, is essential for this role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £41 per hour, based on the location and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to utilize their expertise in industrial process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify software for industrial control systems
  • Experience working with PLC/SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of DSEAR Requirements within Hazardous Areas (COMPEX 01-04)
  • Vast knowledge in power generation or the renewable energy sector
