Materials Technician Trainee

At IGNE, we are seeking a highly motivated Materials Technician Trainee to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in materials testing and contribute to the success of our projects.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a UKAS laboratory or testing environment and possess good written and verbal communication skills. A confident team worker with manual handling skills is essential for this position.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday, bank holidays, training opportunities, and a death in service scheme.
As a Trainee Materials Technician, you will be responsible for testing construction materials, completing test sheets, and liaising with senior staff on work and testing schedules. You will also be required to work within our company's QA systems and ensure high health and safety standards.

- Previous experience in a UKAS laboratory or testing environment
- Knowledge of testing standards and processes
