Job Description

Senior eTrading Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior eTrading Java Developer to join our team at Platinum Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our rates trading platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance Java applications for our rates trading platform.
  • Collaborate with our trading and business teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
  • Work closely with our quants team to develop pricing models and algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain low-latency Java applications using Spring framework.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of our microservices architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Work closely with our business analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java eTrading development, specifically in Fixed Income.
  • Strong expertise in low-latency Java development.
  • Experience with Java Spring framework and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency.
  • Experience working with quants and developing pricing models.
  • Ability to work closely with trading and business teams to understand requirements.
  • Pedigree in capital markets is an absolute necessity.
