Job Title: Van Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of customers' waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate vehicles as directed by the traffic office and transport operations manager.
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures, including health and safety procedures.
  • Undertake routine vehicle checks and report defects where appropriate.
  • Complete all paperwork, including daily timesheets, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Be flexible to working hour requirements.
  • Attend training courses and meetings as required.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.

Person Specification:

  • Car License
  • Previous experience of working in the waste management industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
