Job Title: Van Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Van Driver to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste collection and transportation, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate collection vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables from customers' premises to designated facilities.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any defects or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including daily timesheets and delivery manifests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license
  • Previous experience in waste collection and transportation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
