Job Title: Internal Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director

RSM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Governance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of complex technical audits and controls projects in accordance with RSM's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an internal audit portfolio and team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of complex technical audits and controls projects.
  • Control and manage the delivery of client programs, ensuring work is completed to time and budget.
  • Perform higher-level audit and controls assignments.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and quality of audit work through senior manager review.
  • Prepare initial draft client audit strategies and annual audit programs.
  • Represent RSM in audit and control matters, including attendance at client meetings and audit committees.
  • Ensure effective planning and utilization of team members, managing conflicting priorities and planning longer-term.
Requirements:
  • Professionally qualified, e.g., ACA/ACCA/IA or other specialist qualification.
  • Experience with listed and large private businesses and commercially oriented not-for-profit sectors.
  • Gained recent and relevant experience within internal audit and/or SOX/controls projects.
  • Effective use of IT, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, audit and accounts packages, and data analytics tools.
  • Maintains and promotes high professional standards of conduct and practice.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and internal controls.
  • Able to anticipate and lead change with confidence.
