Job Summary:The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to follow individual education plans and ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will involve supporting children with different learning needs, collaborating with teachers and SENCOs, and creating a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:- Support children with special educational needs in their learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Help create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Work with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for students.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
- Must have DBS (updated service) to safeguard the learners' issues.
