About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Community Team in Bracknell Forest Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to live fulfilling lives in their own communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to connect individuals and their families to community resources, promoting independence and reducing reliance on long-term care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, ensuring high standards of practice and continuous development.
  • Take ownership of your learning and development, including mandatory and suggested training, and contribute to the training of students and staff.
  • Participate in supervision and appraisal, and supervise and appraise allocated staff in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Take on departmental or team lead roles as required, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
