Job Description

Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Based Bookkeeping Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding and supporting new clients with Xero, a leading cloud-based technology. Your expertise will drive improvements through streamlined bookkeeping processes, enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Implementation & Automation: Assist with implementing efficient bookkeeping systems and contribute to projects that enhance automation and streamline workflows for clients.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns, produce management accounts, and perform regular bookkeeping duties to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ad-Hoc Project Work: Participate in special projects focused on optimizing and automating bookkeeping and reporting processes for clients.

What We're Looking For

  1. A current or previous experience of working for an accounting practice.
  2. Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally with a strong understanding of cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  3. Experience in client onboarding and system implementations is preferred.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving financial processes.
