You will work closely with executors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and accurate administration of estates.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the probate process for clients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyze wills, estate assets, and liabilities to identify potential issues and opportunities.
- Prepare and file probate applications and associated documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with executors, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate administration process.
- Coordinate with legal professionals, financial institutions, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless estate administration.
- Provide expert advice on probate matters, including tax implications and inheritance laws.
- Manage and resolve any disputes or challenges related to the estate, ensuring a fair and efficient outcome.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in probate administration, applying this knowledge to improve estate administration processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and present reports on estate administration progress and outcomes, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, or a related field.
- Qualified Solicitor or STEP/CTA qualified.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in probate administration, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of probate laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
- Experience working with executors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in probate software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
- Professional ethics and integrity, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
