Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team at a thriving SEND Alternate Provision in Nottinghamshire.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, with a focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). A valid NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education and experience working with challenging behaviour and Emotional Behavioral Disorders are essential requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN
- Assist teachers in lesson planning and implementation
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop personalized learning plans
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
