Pets Corner is a family-run business dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and a wide range of natural pet food products. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in Kidderminster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assessing customer needs, and recommending our products and services. They will also work closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize store sales and performance.

The role will involve leading by example, motivating and training the team, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and go the extra mile for every customer
  • Assess customer needs and recommend Pets Corner products and services
  • Work with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize store sales and performance
  • Lead by example and motivate, train, and develop the team
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and inventory management
  • Keep up to date with pricing, promotions, and merchandising
  • Key holding responsibilities, opening and closing of the store
  • Maintain accurate inventory by checking deliveries, undertaking stocktakes, and investigating any stock losses
