About the Role

Veolia is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver with Veolia, you will play a vital role in delivering essential services to local communities.

You will be responsible for driving to planned collection locations, loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle, and ensuring the carriageway is left in a clean condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
  2. Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use onboard technology to complete work notes.
  3. Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, ensuring your work environment is safe and clean at all times.
  4. Use onboard technology to complete work notes.
  5. Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
Requirements:
  • HGV Class 2 License.
  • An up-to-date CPC/DIGI card.
  • A can-do attitude and good time-management skills.
  • Ability to be a team player to ensure collections run smoothly.
  • Computer literacy desirable.
  • Good knowledge of the area.

Our drivers can expect to earn approximately £28,800 per annum, based on 40 hours a week and a rate of £14 per hour.
